When I received the Bluapple I knew first off I wanted to try it with banana's. These are something that we eat but not real fast. Usually, within a week I have to put my banana's in the trash. They get soft and dark. So, of course I knew this would be a great thing to try the Bluapple with.Upon getting my banana's I placed them in a pretty bowl along with the Bluapple. The picture is having the banana's for 3 days already. As you can tell they aren't getting any dark spots, they also still have a little green on them. These banana's would have lasted a easy 2 weeks if we hadn't eaten them all up. This saved us money due to the fact I didn't have to trash nasty banana's since we got them ate up before they were bad. I am not one into putting food in the trash, I feel as if I am wasting money. These funny blue apples look and function well in the refrigerator to keep fruits AND vegetables fresh. Fruits that usually would look a bit 'worn' still look as if they were just bought.They have no smell to them (that I can discern) and look very well made. ** The most important thing to me, since other products use a similar technology, is that they are the only ones on the market that are refillable ** - the other ones that I almost bought have to be thrown out after a month or so. I like that there's no extra plastic being wasted with the blue apples. (Plus, they're amusing to see in the drawer.) They were well packaged, with instructions. The company that sold them were super nice and helpful, and shipped them very quickly. |
