Because there is both a toddler and infant side, I know this mattress will last for years to come. Plus, it is light so it will be easy for me to change the sheets, and I feel comfortable with my baby spending so much time in it, being organic and made in the USA. It's very light and managable; however, it utilizes an unstructured framework that runs about an inch small in length. The shortness created a gap on the ends that was too wide for our standard-sized crib (28 wide by 52 1/4 long). We exchanged it for the boxspring 252 model, which seems to run a little bigger and fits tightly all the way around. Great mattress, By S. M.
